Boogie at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church for people with a disability

Children and adults of all abilities are invited to get down and boogie at our weekly dance classes

held every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at All Saints Floreat Uniting Church hall. These

all-abilities dance classes offer participants the opportunity to enjoy moving to music in a fun,

safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

The classes are run by Ballroom Fit (a Registered NDIS Provider) and are currently the only

disability dance classes available in Perth’s Western Suburbs.

Participants dance to familiar tunes—ranging from childhood favourites to the latest popular

hits—making each session enjoyable and engaging.

Rev Reuben Edwards shared, “It’s truly wonderful to see how the classes bring smiles and offer

members of our community the opportunity to socialise in ways they might not otherwise have.”

While the church is keen to continue hosting the classes long-term, attendance is currently low

despite a few loyal regulars. We would love your support in helping us spread the word and build

class numbers.

If you know someone with a disability who enjoys music and dance, please let them know about

these weekly classes. The one-hour sessions cost $17, and Ballroom Fit can assist participants in

claiming this cost through the NDIS if they have funding for Social, Community and Civic

Participation.
