What should I wear to Ballroom Fit?

Wear what you feel most comfortable in. Exercise or dance wear is recommended.

If you have Ballroom Dancing shoes you may wear them however regular exercise shoes are fine.

I have no dance experience, is that a problem?

Absolutely not! Many of our participants claim to have two left feet and no sense of rhythm. After a few Ballroom Fit sessions they are dancing in time, looking graceful and having fun.

I have not exercised for a while, is that a problem?

Ballroom Fit is relatively low impact. Our routines are designed forĀ mature dancers and adapted for disabled dancers.

If you need to sit out a dance, that is not a problem, you can enjoy the music and the atmosphere.

I do not have a partner, is that a problem?

Ballroom Fit does not require a partner, all participants will be dancing by themselves, for themselves.

Can I come and watch first?

If you would like to watch on your first lesson that is fine.

What should I bring?

Definitely a have a go attitude, suitable shoes for dancing (gym or dancing shoes), water and a towel.
