Thank You to Our Student Volunteers

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Student Volunteers, whose commitment supports an inclusive and welcoming dance community.

During National Student Volunteers Week 2025, we recognise your dedication and the generosity of your time, which makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

29.7 per cent of people aged 18-24 years volunteered formally (through an organisation or group) in 2023. This is around 680,000 volunteers aged 18-24. Youth Volunteering Key Statistics, Volunteering Australia 2025

If you know a student who would like to participate in community service as a dance coach, dance partner, or in an administrative role, please contact Ballroom Fit.

At Ballroom Fit, we provide a supportive environment where students can develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence. Our younger team members are mentored by experienced, DanceSport-accredited coaches who guide them in their growth within our sport.

From learning restricted syllabus figures, to building resilience after setbacks, to developing strong interpersonal skills, our volunteers receive guidance that helps them flourish. These young dancers are the future leaders of our sport, and we are proud to help them along that journey.
